You know you know the quote by Benjamin Franklin “For the want of a nail the shoe was lost, for the want of a shoe the horse was lost, for the want of a horse the rider was lost, the battle was lost. For the want of a battle, the kingdom was lost”. In this post the shot is the Vitamin K shot that babies are dying because it isn’t being administered after birth.

In the perhaps always was going to be the endpoint of the MAHA idiocy, some babies are now being denied a life saving shot.

And they die of bleeding into the brain.

Yes, dead.

That means no more baby you carried for 9 months because you got drawn into a Mommy and Me group that gaslighted you into mistrusting anything the medical people had to say. “Trust your own instinct” they cried. “Mommy knows best!” they chanted.

Um, no.

Mommy doesn’t know best.

Mommy doesn’t know that babies are born Vitamin K deficient. The Vitamin K comes from gut bacteria and babies don’t have any.

Mommy doesn’t know that the dead baby problem was solved by two researchers (there’s that evil word again) in 1943 and their discovery that Vitamin K and its ability to stop bleeding in the newly born.

Mommy doesn’t know that this has been the gold standard in American medicine.

Mommy doesn’t know that there are oodles, and oodles of evidence of the efficacy of the Vitamin K shot.

Mommy only knows what her Mommy and Me friends have been spoon feeding her.

And now baby is dead.

And the Mommy and Me group is nowhere to be found.

And Mommy doesn’t know what to do or who to blame.

Like a good gaslighted foot soldier, she knows that it is Big Pharma’s fault.
But a small voice inside her reminds her that it isn’t.
And it is too late to fix it.
And the baby is still dead.

The CDC reports that newborns who do not receive the Vitamin K shot are EIGHTY ONE times more likely to develop bleeding cause by a vitamin K deficiency.

Not all of the after birth bleeding is into the brain. But even one is too much.

I will tell you one truth. Blood is toxic to the brain tissue. Which causes edema and necrosis which causes death.

And not always a peaceful death.

Maybe Mommy will listen next time there is a baby.

But maybe Mommy won’t.
