Now that we’ve all had a minute to catch our breath after that stunning turnout and election results, several races still pending, the calendar says it should be fall.
North Carolina did not get the memo. It’s averaging 12 degrees above norms and today it is humid as hell. We’ve had rain the past 2 days.
I know that a lot of people associate fall with apple picking and apple cider donuts. This make is an approximation of an apple cider donuts. Including being rolled in cinnamon sugar.
Well, I say rolled. What I really did was dip pull them from my favorite mini muffin pan and dip the tops. First into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar.
Fluffy, sweet, apple-y, cinnamon-y.
These are pretty perfect.
